Legendary NL Musician To Be Honoured At ECMA's

The singer who made "Aunt Martha's Sheep" famous and was the first Newfoundlander to ever perform at the Grand Ole Opry will be honoured by  the East Coast Music Association.  The late Dick Nolan of Corner Brook will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in February during the ECMA's in Corner Brook.  His sister, former Corner Brook Mayor Priscilla Boutcher, says Dick was determined to make it.  A very limited number of tickets for the ECMA's Awards Gala will go on sale for the general public on Monday, December 1st.  Some of the artists who will perform include Great Big Sea, Hey Rosetta, Shanneyganock, and The Navigators.
