

Dick Nolan was a legendary Newfoundland, maritime,
and country music recording artist, singer and
song-writer. He released more than 40 albums and
recorded more that 300 tracks since the late 1950s. He
was nominated
for a Juno award, appeared at the Grand
Ole Opry, had one platinum record and
two gold., and had six songs listed on RPM's national charts. Much of his career
was spent in Ontario entertaining homesick Newfoundlanders.
In November of 2005, Dick received a Lifetime Achievement Award from
MusicNL, the Music Industry
Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. Just a month later
Dick passed away leaving a musical legacy which is unequalled in
Newfoundland and Labrador (more
